Long Mynd marker posts

Long Mynd marker posts

Postby Tim Dunn » Tue Jan 07, 2020 4:08 pm

Been looking for the flagstones that indicate where the boundary lies between our rigging, take off and TO landing field and the field below, and found all four at last. The two on the southern HG end currently have 3 ft marker posts, and the two in front of the PG TO are about 15 inches high. PGs please take care when slope landing, if you hit one it should fall over easily enough and not cause any damage.

Now we know where the flagstones are we can paint them and remove the posts. The flagstones will need to to be cleared every year or two.

Thanks to Kevin, Graeme and Raye for helping out.

Cheers, Tim
