Lyme disease

Postby Dave Thomas » Mon Jul 02, 2018 7:32 pm

I'm happy to be the butt of hillside jokes with my dress sense, but my trousers tucked in socks really is the thing to do in the current weather. So I can happily remain as the well dressed man!!

A pupil at a local school has contracted Lyme disease from being got by a tick, which can be a nasty bacterial infection which surfaces some weeks or months after infection.

NHS advice actually states this:
"cover your skin while walking outdoors and tuck your trousers into your socks"
