week beginning Monday 19th October
Nothing really springs out as being a good flying day this week, though forecasts vary for Thursday so will keep an eye on around that time of the week, to see if they start to align in the right direction for flying (wind speed, cloudbase & lack of rain)

Thursday looks like a hang gliding day on the Long Mynd. Will see if forecast winds reduce overnight but at present quite probably blown out for PG's or at best very top end. Reasonable dry air with decent cloudbase though.

No significant changes overnight, still HG launchable at the mynd. At least we now have plenty of weather stations and cameras to see if its likely to be low enough windspeeds for PGs at any time, though the general trend suggests a gradual increase during the day. Local wave effects will change that most likely.

Friday, clearing from the west and going more towards a westerly wind. Probably not SW enough for Clatter, but Camlo could be on. Failing that a longer wait for the Mynd.

Despite all the forecasts, it's not clearing from the west and there's a SW gale blowing out in the Irish sea.

Too windy this weekend and even if it wasn't, the likely sites are all in Wales. Next week looks poor too which is a good job saving a lot of frustration.
