Week Beginning Monday 12th October
From Tuesday onwards, there's a decent chance pretty well every day of some flying, with Tuesday probably having the highest cloudbase and some chance of thermals.
Tuesday NNW and moderate to fresh winds so might be a bit like Sundays weather.
Wednesday onwards from North, veering to SE during the week and lighter winds, not sure of exact details yet but unless we get very low cloud looks useable.

Tuesday has fairly breezy north to NNW winds and some clouds possibly growing to 10000ft or more causing the chance of rain and turbulence. Long mountain again looks the choice and conditions calming later in the afternoon with less thermic activity.

Wednesday not good for our area with a fairly strong NR wind and low cloudbase. Similar on Thursday though lighter wind. Friday maybe better as the wind is due to be more easterly.

Thursday has brisk NE winds in our area and lighter into North Wales, though I don't personally know any suitable sites up there. Corndon for those who want a last ditch attempt at cross country this year, but it's not at all suitable to ridge soar in that direction as it's right on the corner of the hill and does not work for soaring only as a thermal trigger. Cloudbase into Wales is due to be pretty good for a couple of hours. Everywhere else in England looks like being blown out completely.

Forecasts vary just a lttlw today in respect of direction and that could make a difference. If its a light NE were stuffed around here, but if it is more east the corndon could be on for some scratchy soaring. Its due to be increasingly cloudy aroynd here so luttle thermal activity to provide anything other than slope lift.

Daturday has light to moderate winds which are currently NE but due to go a bit more Northerly during the day. So corndon may be ok to soar. Weather is due to be better further south but im not sure that people from England can go there now. I know I'm not the only one confused by the various virus lockdown regulations. In fact corndon is in Wales too.

Yesterday end up not like any forecasts i saw with going pretty dead wind wise. Sunday has lower wind speeds forecast and from the south but who knows, it could turn out the opposite. It might be worth people hacking up the Wrekin on the chance its better than forecast.
