2023 - Tuesday 31st January - Cross Country and Weather
At the request of club members a presentation and discussion evening.
Aimed specifically at Club Pilot rated and early Pilot rated fliers who are hoping to or just
starting out on trying to leave the hill and go cross country
Most likely at the Church Stretton location
With regard to club pilot rated people - leaving the hill is allowed under BHPA guidelines (as far as I remember) under supervision of a Coach, that will involve either flying with or following a flightplan briefed with the coach on the day at the site. That would involve covering weather, hazards, airspace/Notams, experience level, approach and mental attitude, health, site specific conditions.

Last Tuesday in the Month Club presents an evening with Dave Thomas
At the request of club members a presentation and discussion evening.

Venue is the Hayloft at the Kings Arms in Church Stretton.
Sandwiches and a few bowls of chips will be provided.
After a great Xmas do which was well attended let's try to keep the impetus going.
