Week Beginning Monday 25th November

Pretty awful, but there's the chance of a bright spot on Friday.

At first glance, Friday and through the weekend look flyable - well at least reasonably dry and not too windy. However the lapse rate charts show a different story and not all forecasts are as promising, maybe next week or next year.

Some conflicting forecasts for Thursday. But going by the most optimistic report it could be a good day on The Mynd. However, other forecasts are not so good with showers and light northly wind.

Friday will be dry and sunny but probably very light winds. A day to get the paramotor out.

Saturday is looking too windy for PGs at the moment.

All the forecasts for Thursday are now poor. Winds NW and veering NE in the afternoon, Showers increasing during the day. The farther west and south west the better. Possibly Fairbourn in the morning for Mid Wales Members.

Flyable at The Mynd right now, but for how long?

Friday around here looks by most forecasts as far too light to be soarable, much better on Saturday and Sunday, East backing north as the weekend progresses.
Friday elsewhere might be more useable, light NE in South Wales for Hay Bluff, Blorenge or maybe Pandy for SEWHGPG members. Light North in Peak district.

Sunday looking fairly light winds N to NNE. I'm not sure it's going to be soarable. Llangollen or Sarn. Slightly stronger further South so maybe Hundred House might be worth a punt. I'm probably going paramotoring instead.
