The LMSC AGM will be held on Tuesday 26th March, 2019, at the Crown Inn, High St, Bridgnorth WV16 4DB,
8.30 pm, in the upstairs function room.

All the committee posts are up for re-election
As well as the officers, there are up to four places available on the committee for additional members to provide help and expertise. The committee is essential to the functioning of the club and it is important that it properly represents the interests of its members particularly in:

• Negotiating with the owners/tenants of the fields where we take off and land.
• Working with the BHPA to ensure safety, insurance cover etc.
• Providing a forum for promoting club activities and helping us all to enjoy our flying.

The agenda will be:

1. Reports from each Committee Officer with a portfolio.

2. Election of Committee Officers (all standing for re-election with the exception of Richard Bradley as described below)

3. Any motions proposed.

Any member can ask for something to be placed on the agenda; this should be sent as soon as possible to Nick ( or Richard (

Officers standing for re-election:

Chairman: Nick Le Gras
Treasurer: Jason Smith
Safety: Dave Thomas
Membership: Luke Evans
Competitions: Nick Le Gras
Sites: Kevin Williams
Wrekin site manager: Tony Flint
Social: Sian Leavesley
Secretary: Richard Jerman
Members without portfolio: Richard (Chad) Bradley - standing down
George Kirby
Mick Bird Jones
Dave Manning

The current Chief Coach is Mark Leavesley.
This is a committee appointment, not an elected post. Mark is willing to take on this role again if their are no other interested applicants

We applaud the excellent work the members of the committee (past and present) have and do undertake, on behalf of the club membership. Without them we would have no sites and no flying, But It’s important that new blood is injected in to the committee, regularly and often.

If you think you might be willing to offer your services to the club in some capacity for the coming year, then please do contact the chairman ( ) or secretary ( ) and/or come to the AGM to put your name forward at the meeting with a formal proposer and seconder.

We look forward to seeing members on the 26th March . It’s your club, so do come along and have your say .

Thanks for doing what you do. The increase in subs last year was unjustified. If it doesn't go down I will be disappointed but to be honest I can't be fucked to argue the toss.
