November clubnight 26th November - XC Skills

Postby Dave Thomas » Mon Nov 05, 2018 4:26 pm

On Monday 26th November in Bridgnorth we will be holding a clubnight with a specific theme.

The theme is to cover specific aspects relating to flying XC and will be especially for those who have recently started flying cross country, want to improve their success rate or likely to want to be able to in the near future.

The speakers will be our local sky-gods - Kai Coleman - former British straight line record holder, mentor to many of our top pilots and Steve Watts, the current highest placed non 2 line paraglider pilot in the XC league 2 years running (11th and 12th Place). If you don't understand the difference it's like comparing a hang glider to a low performance sailplane - still a huge difference. I'll be adding in my limited wisdom too with a presentation aimed at helping you leave some prime XC sites safely and easily.

8PM start

Upstairs room at the Crown, High Street, Bridgnorth, WV16 4DB
