Webcast: Interpreting the RASP
Posted by Judith Mole at 2010-07-14 11:56

Hi All,

We're starting a new project in that we're developing webcasts as well as the flying podcasts. The difference is you get visuals along with the audio.

Our first outing is Mark Riches' explanation of how he uses the Regional Atmospheric Soaring Prediction (RASP), looking at the data and parameters he finds useful and showing what this means for paragliders and hang gliders. He shows how to interpret a tephigram and how to pick a good flying day.

See the webcast here: http://www.judithmole.net/blog/?page_id=3205

Please do let us have your feedback and the next one on weather forecasting will be released very soon!

Judith
