(sorry if you've already read this on the Beyond Extreme forum)
I need to arrange to study abroad next Feb & March so would like to go somewhere that's good for paragliding at this time. Anyone got any suggestions?
Also, does anyone know any good websites that can tell me all the places you can fly around the world and which times of year are best?
Cheers

Are you talking about Europe? Or anywhere in the world? And if you are studying, do you need to be near a city with a university, or does that not matter?
Algodonales in the south of Spain is usually a good bet - OK, rubbish this year, but that's quite rare. I'd tend to avoid anywhere further north, even the numerous places that claim "300 flyable days a year".

Hi Andrew yep I'd definatley back up what Geoff says go easy on the fried obergines..(how do you spell those??)
paraglidingforum.com section on "destinations and holidays"..brilliant resource for all stuff paragliding, lots of online bickering though.
Cheers.

Cheers for the suggestions, I've been looking into Algodonales and it definitely looks like a good option. I can pretty much go anywhere in the world. I don't need a university nearby cos I'll be working in a nearby hospital.
The other place I've been looking at is Venezuela, don't suppose anyone knows anything about flying there?
