Mynd conditions - Friday 19th

Hi all,

Are there any hangies out there thinking of going to the Mynd tomorrow? Windspeed and direction look promising.

Also, does anyone know if the paths to the top are still coated in ice? I was there 2 or 3 weeks ago and the road was closed.

Barring any snow tonight all roads up the Mynd are clear. Friday and Saturday afternoons look do-able for HGs & PGs (top end?).

TV news showed heavy snow in Malvern Thurs lunchtime.

For the benefit of everyone else - I believe that this afternoons snow has now made the road conditions to the top of the Mynd quite bad. So I for one will not bother driving up on Friday. What the heck has happened to global warming?
