Calling all pilots.
With Spring just round the corner I thought it a good time to start thinking about this years comps.
First off is the BCC. Entry level introduction to competition flying. Its quite a laid back event and quite appealing to novice XC pilots who want to improve their XC skills and have fun in the process.
Here`s a link to the homepage where you`ll find lots of information.
http://www.flybcc.co.uk/
We need 6 pilots to make up a full team. But if more pilots enter then we can make up 2 teams or more.
So if any of you want to have a go, please jot your names down here.

Hi Dave
Please put me down on the list. I'd be interested in teaming up with anyone in the Shrewsbury area for lifts.

Ok guys,
3 takers so far,
Roy Dade,
Karol Mlynarczyk,
Michal Wojeciechowski,
It would nice to have a few more names in the hat. Obviously this is entry level competition but there`s lots that can be learned by the novice xc pilots in the club and if your at the stage when you think your ready to make your first XC, this is a great way to start.
Come on, get your names down and give it a go.

I'd like to sign up, but wanted to check if you had to attend all rounds? I've commited to a lands end - john o groats bike ride in June, so with training & the ride itself, might not be available every weekend - I don't want to let the team down :-)?
Hi Roy, I'm in Telford, so we could arrange to meet up somewhere convenient to car share. I've got your number & e-mail, so will be in touch nearer the time if I don't see you on the hill first.

Steve,
I did Land End to John o Groats two years ago - must chat about it next time we're on the hill together

Excellent !
We now have at least 1 full team.
Roy Dade,
Karol Mlynarczyk,
Michal Wojeciechowski,
Dave Thomas
Steve Whalley
Dave Jackson-Hobbs (captain)
I`ll print off an entry form and register us in.
Stephen, don`t worry if you can`t turn up to a round...........no one expects to be able to make it to every round.
All the rounds will only take place on weekends or Bank holidays which usually limits the amount of rounds that go ahead anyway.
Once we`re registered I`ll post here again to confirm and hopefully have an idea of when the first rounds will go ahead.

Hi all,
Okay, I have now set up our team entry for the BCC and we have our first proposed comp dates.
Its to be held in conjunction with the Long Mynd Big Bash on the 8TH & 9TH of May, 2010. Based in Lydbury North.
Hope this is okay for you guys. Lets hope we get some good weather.
I`ll post updates as I get more information and further dates of comps as thet get proposed.
