Dangerous Times - another warning !!

There have been an unprecedented number of paragliding fatalities so far this year including several British pilots and at least two in the UK.

I urge you all to consider your flying plans very seriously when the conditions are rough and you are not at your most current. It may look tempting but sometimes the wisest decision is to not fly. If you are in any doubt ask a coach or a more experienced pilot and consider their advice carefully. Don't fly alone.

As Chairman of the club I would certainly be involved in any serious accident investigation and would probably have to attend any inquests - I REALLY don't want to do that !
