Have a look at this months Skywings folks-page7. There is an article from a guy called Andrew Price from Dover and Folkstone HG club. Thought there might be some mileage in it for our club-its called 3jam,never heard of it before personally. Comments please,we can get it organised quite quickly if we want to. cheers John B

Sounds like a good idea but won't you be deluged with text messages? If there's (say) 20 or 30 people in a group and a good number are 'active' - making requests/sending out info - I can imagine my 'phone beeping almost continuously. Maybe Andrew would be interested in trying it as he gets lots of calls anyway ?

But they will have received the first message themselves so they wont need to send unless to update everyone of a changing situation.

Since we live line-of-sight with the Mynd wind sock, I would be happy to set up a mid-week flyers group to try this out. I'll post something on the forum and news section so people can join.
