AGM - Wednesday

Thanks to all the forum users who attended the LMSC AGM on Wednesday. I hope you enjoyed yourselves & found the newcomers' chat and the meeting itself informative & useful.

The committee welcomes your involvement & feedback. We don't get paid so our only reward is knowing that you approve of and appreciate what we do.

There was one unfilled position on the committee - competitions/races organiser. If you would like to become involved in this capacity please contact me or another committee member. You won't be thrown in at the deep end! This could start off fairly low key with a lot of help from experienced members. An opportunity to get involved with the more enthusiastic pilots in the club and motivate them in new endeavours.

Mark Leavesley has kindly offered his services in the role of Competitions Organiser and endorsements so far received from (the majority of) the committee have all been extremely positive.

His appointment will be confirmed at the next committee meeting. We wish him success and look forward to having some interesting & fun days this summer. I hope as many of you as possible will support the venture.

Just a quick note on what happened at the AGM on Wednesday the 23rd of April.

Martin Knight kindly organised and ran a session for new members and new pilots which was well attended and well received.

Each committee member gave a short report, the content of which will appear in the minutes to be available in due course. Election of officers was as follows:

OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE CLUB: Tim Dunn and Andrew Donnison
